Microwave Update 2007 Surplus Tour Information
READ THIS FIRST TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT: The electronics surplus market in this area has been severely reduced. To avoid disappointment, check the websites of these potential sites or make a phone call to see what they have available before you get on the road. You may find that you are better off visiting local attractions than taking a long drive and finding few or no bargains.

Alltest Instruments is a well-stocked test equipment vendor dealing in used test equipment from HP, Tektronix, etc. They carry a huge selection of RF test equipment - much of which is fairly new as far as ham standards (less than 10-15 years old)... some older stuff too. They are located in Ocean Township NJ, approximately 90 minutes from the MUD conference. Alltest does not normally have foot traffic but has made arrangements to be open for MUD surplus attendees from 9 AM to Noon, so if you're interested, you should plan on this being your first stop. WARNING: - Alltest serves the commercial microwave industry (read: there may or may not be bargains for hams!). If you wish to call ahead of time, ask for Nathan and mention the Surplus Tour if you have a specific piece you're looking for.
