Ladies Program

Ladies, in keeping with tradition we are trying not to plan too much till you get to Texas. Plan on meeting in the hotel Thursday night (hospitality suite) and Friday and Saturday mornings to discuss where our outings will take us.  Here are a couple of ideas.

On Friday at 9AM we meet in the hotel lobby. We will travel to historic downtown Grapevine (not far from the hotel).  There you will find boutiques, antique stores and an eclectic variety of shops to visit.  At lunch time, we could gather at one of the many eateries or go our own way to the wide variety of eating opportunities such as Willhoite’s Texas style buffet restaurant, Napoli’s Italian Café, Esparza’s Restaurante Mexicano and more. There are also several wine tasting rooms where you can try some of our local wines before buying some to take home. We will return to the hotel in the early afternoon or we could travel to another destination.

On Saturday we will again meet in the hotel lobby at 9AM to coordinate the day’s activities. We could go to Grapevine Mills Mall (also just down the road). I am sure everyone could fine at least one store, if not more, where you would enjoy shopping.  Again, there are many eateries at the mall. Once again we could eat as a group or do our own thing. We will return to the hotel by mid afternoon so that we all have time to rest and get beautiful for the evening banquet.

These are just ideas.  I will be glad to help everyone get to where they want to go. In case you get back early or just want to hang out in the hotel, we will have our hospitality suite available during the daytime for the women to just kick back and get comfortable

When registering, please indicate whether you will be joining us on either or both days. Although the Westin hotel does have courtesy vans, if you can supply transportation for an extra person or two, please indicate so on your registration form. At registration, we will have plenty of local maps and several local folks that know the area well. Also please be sure to include your email address so we can compile a ladies directory.
